Dear Band Members,
I wanted to take a moment to share something I’m incredibly proud of. My daughter, Lilliana Grace Crowe recently illustrated a book that was written by her aunt, Michelle. The book has already become a bestseller, and her artwork plays a powerful role in setting the tone for its message.
As a mother, it was powerful to see her creativity and talent come to life in a project that holds such meaning. The illustration she created is spiritual and symbolic. It shows a woman looking up toward her Creator, surrounded by flowing, almost tribal energy, honouring the connection between self, spirit, and the infinite. It reflects her own Indigenous roots and perspective in a beautiful, subtle way.
The book itself is healing, soulful, and thoughtful. I believe many in your community might connect with it, and I also believe her contribution is something to be proud of, not just as a young artist, but as a young Indigenous woman sharing her gift in a meaningful way.
We’d be happy to share a copy of the art or book or more information if there’s interest.
Thank you always for the support you give to our youth and artists.
With appreciation,
Nadine La Greca Crowe
