Are you looking for work but finding it difficult because of some missing skills you may be experiencing? Do you need certain skills to get the job that you want? My name is Rachael and I would love to meet with you and find out how I can help with that?
As the Workforce Promoter for McLeod Lake Indian Band, my job is to work with the Federal and Provincial governments to create programs to fill those skill gaps so you can gain the knowledge to attain meaningful careers to provide for your families.
I am contracted through The Prince George Nechako Aboriginal Employment and Training Association (PGNAETA). They serve the First Nations and Urban Aboriginal community in the north central interior of British Columbia. Their service philosophy is centered on value added programs and services to achieve the highest standard with customer rapport, product leadership and operational excellence.
I am also the Liaison for Centerra Gold/Mount Milligan Mine. Mount Milligan is located approximately 90 miles northwest of Prince George in central British Columbia, Canada. The Mount Milligan Mine is a conventional truck-shovel open-pit copper and gold mine. I go up to the mine 2 times a month and meet with any of the current 107 first nations members, but my focus is on the McLeod Lake Indian Band members who are working there. I deal with any human resources issues or concerns they may have and I’m also there for support. If you are a band member and looking for employment at the mine. Please email me your resume and please go online and fill out the online application they have on their website. https://www.centerragold.com/.
Please contact me on any information regarding the above or if you simply want to see where your potential career ideas can lead. I am here to help and look forward to meeting with you!
