Band Member Chaperones Required for Elders Trip July 7th to 14th, 2024 to the Calgary Stampede.

Duties and requirements:

1. Must have a valid First Aid Level 1;

2. Must keep Confidentiality as per MLIB policy;

3. Must be respectful to all Elders as this is their trip to enjoy.

4. If you are an MLIB Employee, it is your responsibility to get permission from your manager to chaperone and get paid;

5. Must assist the Elders getting on and off the bus throughout the trip;

6. Must be able to assist in carrying luggage/bags to and from the bus and hotel rooms for the Elders;

7. Must be willing and able to assist the Elders that require assistance due to medical or health conditions;

8. Must assist Elders requiring assistance by getting their meals and refreshments daily throughout the trip, including on the bus;

9. Must assist with any medical emergencies throughout the trip;

10. Must assist the Trip Coordinator by keeping track of the numbers of the Elders when getting off and onto the bus throughout the trip, including ensuring the Elders know the time to return to the bus at stops;

11. Must assist with all Elder activities throughout the trip, including when checking in; and keeping track of where Elders are at any given time during the trip, etc.

12. Any concerns of any Elders, medical or otherwise, must be brought to the Trip Coordinator right away.
