Tse’Khene Timber Ltd., managed by McLeod Lake Indian Band, is moving forward with Carrier Lumber to harvest timber south of the reserve in the Hammet Operating Area.
Logging operations began July 27, 2026, and the site will remain active into the fall. Log hauling is expected to begin around August 10.
Please use extra caution when travelling through the area, watch for logging trucks and equipment, follow all posted speed limits, and drive safely.
