On October 28, 2020 McLeod Lake, in partnership with Mackenzie Hospital Community Nurses, were pleased to provide a Flu Shot clinic to the McLeod Lake community on IR#5.  We had a wonderful showing of 36 people who received the Flu vaccine.  An additional 6 people also qualified for and received either the pneumococcal vaccine or an additional vaccine.

If you have any questions about vaccinations and if you qualify for any vaccines that you have not received yet, please see Allison in CHR office, who will follow up with our Community nurse.   For anyone still wanting a flu shot please phone your local Pharmacy and schedule an appointment.

A special thank you to all those that helped to make this a successful Flu Clinic!  A special thank you for:

Also, a big THANK YOU to the residents and workers of McLeod Lake Indian Band that made the responsible choice to get their flu shot this year.  By making this choice each person is protecting themselves and others from the spread of Flu.  Each person who made this choice also choose to do their part to reduce the burden of the medical system during the Covid19 Pandemic.  Thank you for making this choice!
